Cave Hill Resort welcomes........

your company picnics, family gatherings, reunions and informal weddings. We are open from June to mid-September operating seven days per week. Our facilities are open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (unless other times are arranged).  Because we are a summer resort, there will be house guests from June 25th – Labor Day. We book only one group each day on a First Come, First Serve Basis.
 

Your picnic options: 

1.                  You may bring your own self-contained caterer who is fully certified, insured and licensed.

2.                  Your group can have a “Do-It-Yourself” picnic.  You provide your own food, beverages, picnic supplies, cooking utensils, charcoal and chef.

 

Rental Fees as follows:
     Saturday and Sunday picnics – up to 100 guests – flat rate is:  $850.00 plus state tax
Additional guests over 100 add $7.00 per person plus tax
     Monday – Friday picnics – up to 50 guests – flat rate is: $450.00 plus state tax
Additional guests over 50 add $7.00 per person plus tax

 

NO Charge for children 4 years and under

Deposit Procedures & Cancellation Policy
Weekend Deposit - $500.00
Weekday Deposit - $200.00

Payment of Balance
Your final payment must be paid in full upon
arrival.  Your group is responsible for damages.


Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE
unless cancellation is given 90 days in
advance of planned function or we are
able to re-book the date you reserved.  All
parties are held RAIN or SHINE.

 

 

 

PETS

Alcoholic Beverages

Please advise your group – absolutely,
NO PETS are permitted on the premises.

You may bring your own. Your group assumes responsibility for the consumption of alcoholic beverages by any members at your function and the enforcement of the 21 year old minimum drinking age.

 

The rental fee entitles your group to stay from 9:30 a.m.- 6:30p.m. with use of our 40’ by 100’ swimming pool, canoes, rowboats, fishing, tennis, volleyball, badminton, softball, shuffleboard, ping-pong, basketball, horseshoe pitching, golfing on our practice course and a children’s playground.

 

Facilities and What to Bring

Swimming Pool – please swim in a bathing suit – bring POOL TOWEL.
Floatables are okay for children.

Lifeguards - are in charge and will insist that all pool safety & health rules are enforced.  Please cooperate.

Canoes & Rowboats - on Lake Mini-ha-ha. Life jackets must be worn by children and non-swimmers. Adults accompany your children. Bring your Fishing Poles & Bait.

School Functions - Chaperone Coverage – please provide one adult per 10 – 12 students.

Tennis - bring your sneakers, rackets & tennis balls.

Softball - bring your gloves & favorite bat.

Changing Rooms - with bathrooms are available.

Disc Jockey - you can bring your own.

Do-it-Yourself Picnics – 20 lbs. charcoal and lighter fluid; cooking utensils; Paper goods, Food, drinks, and chef.
